Shameka Hawes Ferebee
Shameka Hawes Ferebee is the Director of Operations at Lumina Compliance and oversees all of the company’s operations such as service agreements, service implementation, portal set-up and support, accounts payables, accounts receivables, etc. Shameka Hawes-Ferebee brings over 20 years of experience in operations management, client services, billing, and team leadership across the compliance, property management, and telecommunications sectors. Known for a results-driven mindset and hands-on leadership style, she ensures a seamless experience from implementation through continued service.
Throughout her career, Shameka has been recognized for streamlining internal workflows, enhancing customer satisfaction, and building cross-functional teams that consistently exceed goals. With a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University, she brings both strategic insight and operational discipline to every aspect of the role.
When not leading day-to-day operations, Shameka is passionate about continuous learning, and creating workplace cultures built on accountability, communication, and growth. Outside of work, Shameka enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, volunteering, traveling, and cheering on the University of Miami Rowing team.
